Touching Elbows is a recent & ongoing collaboration between myself & William Edmonds.
It is a project focused on the trading of ideas, forms, colours, patterns, thoughts, processes and the intermingling of practices built on mutual respect and admiration, as well as friendship.
It is about sharing place and holding space.
We were recently asked to extend our collaborative hands, pushing our ideals in the form of pattern on a series of fabric designs for Jenny Wingfield, the creative mind behind studio 'Flock'.
The image above shows us mid creative transaction.. silkscreening a random pattern on many sheets of A3 paper tacked together, representative of a full furnishing fabric width.

Many technical hours later from both sides of the equation has left us with four rolls of linen fabric with our names on its selvedge, ; ) The image above is a colour way of this first design. New websites are imminent from Us & Flock .. in the meantime you can keep an eye on Studio Flock's Instagram page here / #excited!
